Turnkey C.A.T.V. Construction Management. Served as liaison with Customers
coordinating project and launch schedules, providing weekly progress reports
and resolving any Design, Permitting, or Billing issues. Oversaw in-house and
contractor construction crews. Organized daily schedules. Monitored project
progress and provided reports to Customers and Corporate Supervisors.
Projects included Houston TX, Dallas TX, Portland OR Suburbs, and Baltimore
MD. Over 5,000 miles of plant constructed. Enterprise Project Highlights Fannie/Sallie MAE Engineered
and implemented a seven Node scalable Ethernet ring to connect four Northern
Virginia, three Washington DC and one Maryland site as well as connecting to
Equinox (VA). The project included Type 1 fiber, Type 2 fiber (negotiated
contract) and DWDM segments. Worked closely with Sales, Corporate
Engineering, Finance (provided estimates for material, labor, electronics and
contract obligations for ROI analysis) and Customer to get project approval.
Coordinated closely with the Customer by providing technical drawings and
specifications for building access and lateral and riser construction. Also,
coordinated the turn-up and testing of eight sites simultaneously which
required organizing additional resources from multiple markets. The project
was completed on- time and in budget. DC University I2 Diversity Engineered
and implemented diverse circuits connecting George Washington University,
Georgetown University, American University and Catholic University (I2).
Worked directly with customer POCs to develop building access and lateral and
riser construction plans for approval. Developed detailed schedules with
input from customers, vendors and internal resources. Provided detailed
progress reports along with verbal updates. Provided accrual reports to Finance.
The project was completed on-time and in budget Georgetown University Campus Bulk Video Worked
closely with Enterprise Sales, Georgetown University Administration and
Technical Personnel to tailor a plan that met technical and financial targets
to bring video services to over 16 buildings housing 2,000 dorm rooms. Served
as the customer POC successfully resolved access schedules, construction
related complaints and channel lineup changes. The project was successfully
completed on-time and in budget. Watergate Bulk Triple Play Worked
closely with Enterprise Sales to present a plan to win the business for
providing bulk Video, Data and VIOP services to one of the premiere MDUs in
the Washington DC Market. Developed detailed customized network plans that
could be launched in phases to meet the unique circumstances presented by the
layout of the building and the need to access each unit during the
construction phase. Constant contact with the Watergate POC was necessary to
adjust construction and installation schedules based on changing schedules of
the building renovation contractors and unit owners. The project was
completed in budget and was a top revenue producer for the Market.
